It seems obvious but it’s not, so I’ll say it: The person who made you feel unlovable isn’t worth loving. They’re not your soulmate or the love of your life. They lost their chance at loving you or being loved by you when they consistently took you for granted. Remember that.
And the one who broke you shouldn’t be there when you’re trying to put the pieces back together.
Maybe being “taken for granted,” doesn’t sound unforgivable but think about it. They had you. You wanted them. You cared. You were there. They didn’t see the value. They risked losing you by mistreating you. Do you think that someone deserving of you wouldn’t see your value?
If you don’t see the value of being with me/ loving me then I’m not going to fucking explain it to you. You see it or you don’t. You care or you don’t.

Stop making excuses as to why it didn’t work out and start getting real. They had you and didn’t see the value in keeping you.
