I just had a conversation with my friend who’s Asian about fetishising people based on their race:

He didn’t really understand what it meant I explained to him that fetishizing is making someone’s race the main reason why your intrested in them. If you started to date someone because of their race you fetishized them.

For the fetishizers what can a person give you based solely on the color of their skin that any other race can’t ? D1 children? So you based who you married on who can produce an athletic offspring ?

So you can exploit that child and make money off of him/her or is it beacuse no other race can also produce d1 children??? Cause that would be a generalization not to mention prejudice and form of supremacy would surley emerge

What is a racial preference? If it is your own race that you prefer so than be it automatic shared culture. But if you’re willing to date every race but one then you’re racist or prejudice there’s no question about it

How can One just deem every person within a race as not attractive? Have you seen every person of that race? if the color of ones skin from one race makes them unattractive but you find every other race attractive that’s not a preference that’s prejudice

You have subjective thoughts about an entire race that’s why you have a ‘racial preference’ there are subconscious biases thought in your head about them that’s why you won’t date them.

Back to my friend he explained to me that with the rise in popularity of Kpop stars and anime he found that girls were only attracted to him because he was Asian

Do y’all understand how fucking creepy that is girls are thirsting after him because they idolized a Kpop star built up a fantasy of how that kpop star would treat them if they were together and decided that they would only date Asian men as a result of their Fantasy
