This is my own personal view and I have no ill will to anyone in particular but all the leftie Brit YouTubers who are lovely and rightly a force for good especially across the pond when debating American issues and making socialism seen cool there...
I do find it odd they engage so little with leftwing politics in the UK. I suppose it is partly the bigger injustices are in the states (healthcare) but hardly any seem to engage or care about today& #39;s results, they only seem to care when it was Jeremy in charge..
One in particular proclaimed only voted cause of Jez and wouldn& #39;t vote labour which we& #39;re all different peeps with points of view but to me not even engaging with labour seeing any potential with what labour can do I jus don& #39;t understand
If ya leftwing in mostly England and UK in general Labour is the main vehicle of change for the left and the fact it& #39;s no longer your guy shows ya don& #39;t share those labour values I do. I guess it is my part to convince as many as I can to vote labour and why but
The fact the more youtuber left just doesn& #39;t really bother here I jus find strange, it could be that wanted radical change and I suppose I do to an extent but I& #39;m more pragmatic and would like more health school funding, I suppose I& #39;m an uncomplicated socialist
I suppose they don& #39;t do leftwing here much cause the leftwing audience in UK are a complicated nauced bunch and large chunks especially twitter might be alienated by what they say
Idk what this thread is but I jus find this disinterest odd and jus because we don& #39;t have a strange bearded guy in charge suddenly politics isn& #39;t as exciting but jus because labours being more nuanced now I hope that don& #39;t lose interest and engagement
Cause I like to think we can all have shared, I might irk at certain ones being Bernie or bust types but we accept different views, I& #39;m just bloody sick of the snidding in the left
