an actual unpopular opinion:

eunbi is more than a nice body and just the leader, she’s an incredible all-rounder idol and performer with amazing vocals, dancing, and visual whose talent has become underrated

for those ready to have that discussion, here’s a thread:

There are quite a few people who don’t consider her a main dancer when she definitely is one (a group can def have more than one) and her dancing is incredibly powerful, versatile, and charismatic

Everyone loves Rumor Eunbi but Sorry Not Sorry Eunbi was when I realized how flexible she was + she was the one who came up with the idea for that fish dance here

and she was even so generous to distribute a lot of her center parts to the other members in this performance

she’s a well-balanced dancer who executes a variety of facial expressions on stage while making sure not to overdance and stand out too much from her other members

and while she is leader, as a main dancer she’s been seen leading the group during practice

although eunbi does get a lot of parts in izone’s title tracks, it’s not like her vocals are appreciated as much either. in some cases, she has a strong, powerful voice that can create a huge impact on the song with her womanly (?) and mature tone

eunbi’s voice can also have a softer, sweeter tone to it that can be seductive if she wants to and her lisp is particularly adorable (the elderly gentleman in the vid is a friend of hers)

plus the fact that she can play the guitar, piano, and drums,, the amount of talent

pls appreciate Eunbi’s raw vocals in this encore stage

eunbi’s vocals when she was still a Woollim trainee and was asked by Dongwoo of Infinite to fill in for his song, “Embedded in Mind” for a concert

she’s also a talented composer and songwriter who thought about the members’ personalities when writing Spaceship,, spending several sleepless nights in a row just to do so, saying that this was a song especially for wizone

and of course, Eunbi’s visual

even though she’s known as the sexy member she still has a really cute face uwu

as a person, she’s also effortlessly funny and her humor is misunderstood as cringey sometimes but she’s just funny without even trying and always makes her members laugh

she’s also perhaps the most memed member in izone

And as leader, people don’t always understand what that title really means. For Eunbi, she holds a lot of responsibility regarding the well-being of the group and as we’ve seen, it can be a tough job. She’s a listener who selflessly puts her members’ needs before hers.

Being leader is more than just being a good speaker, it’s also understanding each of your members’ personalities and adjusting to them (like her understanding that Yujin and Wonyo are just kids and wanting Nako and Hiichan to speak their minds to her).

this rant probably doesn’t mean much coming from someone who’s Eunbi-biased in the first place, but always seeing her being reduced to just an Irene look-alike, a jinjja nice body, an emotional support leader, and/or just being used to advance a ship agenda gets tiring

but I hope by now (by the end of this long thread) you can see that Eunbi is so much more than those things, that she’s an incredibly beautiful and talented idol and person. I hope more ppl love and appreciate Eunbi because she deserves the world and more
