EDM Twitter is going to crucify me but does anyone else get slightly annoyed when EDM DJs say they’re going to play a house set when it’s actually bass house or electro house? I love the EDM subgenres of house but ‘house’ doesn’t need to be a blanket term when we have subgenres

And before anyone gets actually mad about this, understand that my actual job is defining genres/subgenres and it’s important for me to be precise about it. No need to agree with me, just something I think about more often these days!
