We all aspire at being heroes, but what does it mean to be a hero and what is the "hero''s way"? Is it similar to how some "teutonic" (((Hebrew speakers))) envision it? Let's find out!

The word "hero" comes from the PIE root *ser-, which is said to also give us the word...
..."servo" in Latin (which originally meant "to protect, to conserve", rather than "serve") and also the theonym Hera in Greek. Hera's name is the strong form of the word "era", which means not "period of time", as in Latin, but "earth". So, the essence of the hero...
...lies in those two terms, the conservation/preservation and the chthonic element. Lest we forget, the worship of the heroes in ancient Greece was of the chthonic type, vis-a-vis both invocation and ritual. Hero worship was centered around tombs, especially of the local ones.
The sacrificial victims heroes received were also dark-coloured, like the ones of the chthonic deities. So, who are the heroes? They are associated with the Earth and they preserve. What do they preserve, though, and what do they have to do with the Earth? Answer: they are...
...our own previous incarnations, they are in the earth, the barrow, but they preserve the ancestral honor and experience, they preserve the very spirit that was present in them, which is rekindled when the initiate completes his quest and becomes a hero himself.
In the essence, WE are the heroes. Our hero's quest is the reincarnation ritual and the hero's way is our honourable life. I also add that, in Mycenaean times, Hermes, the sum total of our forebears, is also known as Trisheros, id est "triple-hero". The number three...
...can either allude to the three initiation rites (at 7, 14 and 21) or just be a metaphor for "a multitude", since we have lived many previous lives.

Awaken your ancestors inside you! Don't just admire the heroes, BE a hero!
