@HotHardware your take on the @LGUSAMobile #LGV60ThinQ isn't AS bad as the takes I've critiqued from other Reviewers, but there's quite a few things I want to called out that needs to be fixed.

Let the Review begin!

THIS IS GOING TO BE A THREAD OF TWEETS, SO BE READY.
Starting off with title, "almost Flagship"?? I'm guessing this is your conclusion based off of it not having the stupid high refresh rate and a QHD Display??

I hope not.
Right? Because you surveyed 7+billion people on this planet to come up with that hypothesis??😒

You can miss me with this nonsense.😑

#LGV60ThinQ
LG isn't just trying to please the operators, LG has been for a long time trying to please the end user, if they wasn't, we wouldn't have a headphone jack with HiFi Quad DAC capabilities, Manual Controls with the Camera etc.

You're making no sense
But it's "Almost Flagship" though.😒
I'll answer those questions for you......

Yes, yes, and yes.

#LGV60ThinQ
Incorrect! The #GalaxyS10series rear design is actually reminiscent of the #LGV40ThinQ released back in October 2018, and the S10 series released in March of 2019.

LG is not the parrot in this situation.

Here's a picture comparison for you folks.

Moving on.
The first supposed "shortcomings", and it's about the #LGV60ThinQ lacking the useless high refresh rate and QHD display, specifications like these don't associate themselves well with battery performance.

The video link in my next tweet by @djeze416 screams "SpEcKs"<Optimization
Enjoy folks!

Continuing...

You have to understand, additions in features translates to higher subtractions in you wallet. Why would LG add a camera with the Dualscreen Case just because they added a notch?

LG did this solely for symmetrical purposes.
LG has a contingency plan if you were to lose that magnetic piece, it's called "wireless charging" which can be done with the case on or off, it may not charge faster than being tethered by a wire, but the convenience is still there.🤷🏾‍♀️

#LGV60ThinQ
The split screen on Android doesn't make LG's use of the Dualscreen "redundant".

1.can't see a page in the dimension of the phone's display by Android's take on split screen multitasking.

2. Using a keyboard to type in something makes Android's take even worse.

LG did right.
You're comparing Apples to Oranges.

The #GalaxyFold is 2000$ (which you did acknowledge) compared to the #LGV60ThinQ that's 800$ to 900$(with the case via T-Mobile) offers a more sensible approach to productivity.

That Fold is just a conversion to a tablet, that's it.
Where have I heard that "doesn't stand out in any way" statement before? Hm hm hmmm, Oh Yeah, MKBHD!

This is silly, a non-existing feature on a device should not pose as a con.

Stay focusing on the shortcomings of what the device features rather than what it lacks.
This Reviewer gave the audio performance of the #LGV60ThinQ a fair assessment, which other Big Reviewers should take note of.

I'm looking at you DroidLife, MKBHD, and many others.

Let's continue
This Reviewer praised the battery performance also, so I didn't bother to screenshot and dive into this segment, because it's not unnecessary negativity.

We're almost at the end, hang in there.
The UI on the #LGV60ThinQ looks nothing like the one found on the #LGG6, I don't see the similarity that you're seeing here.

I mean..just look at these screenshots to see for yourself.

LG didn't take a step back here.

Also, how can you "feel" a software????😑
LG will continue to lack an identity for y'all, because the UI of the G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, and G8 looked dated, and the cycle continues, there's no satisfactory from y'all concerning this topic.

What's dated is this insatiable complaint on progress.

#LGV60ThinQ
Are you talking about the Samsung Experience before One UI or TouchWiz?

If it's the latter, TouchWiz was a bloody nightmare in bloat and performance, LG had bloat as well prior to UX 9.0, but it PALES in comparison to what Samsung did, not to mention they don't look alike!
LG "freshen" up their software 7 times, how much more do they need to "freshen up"?? I have an #LGG8ThinQ running Android 10 UX 9.0 and am trying to understand why is LG's software such a discrepancy amongst the Tech Community???

Your complaint is merely based on aesthetics.
It may be a Carrier negotiation in this situation, I'm sure Android OEMS would love to not have their software tampered with, but I can't blame LG entirely as we don't really know the Carrier side as to why their bloatware is necessary on Non-Apple Devices.
What did I tell you folks that the title of this Review had something to do with the lack of those 2 features (one being utterly pointless btw)??

You named 3 non-existing features in a phone to conclude that it doesn't tick all the boxes??

That doesn't make sense.
Alot of you Reviewers Excel in this "should've could've would've" mantra rather than what the device has and assess it's shortcomings in what it features, rather than what it doesn't have.

LG took a different approach this year, y'all may not agree with it, but accept it.
This is a backhand compliment to what LG offered with the #LGV60ThinQ.

Why reiterate the lack of the high refresh rate and QHD display in the "there’s a lot to like about the V60" section? We get it, y'all wished LG listened to y'all to add those, but you're not being fair here.
Also, the preinstalled Bloatware isn't altogether LG's fault, you should blame AT&T (the worst provider to go to concerning this issue).
If LG wants to garner market share in Flagship handsets they need to ADVERTISE at the level of Samsung and Apple, not the things you mentioned.

The #LGV60ThinQ could also be suited to those who want choice and competition, and don't want a duopoly (Samsung&Apple).
They did differentiate, I'm willing to bet if LG did add those two vital features to the #LGV60ThinQ it still won't be enough for y'all, there's always something else to trivialize about.
What the.. how is a "simulated telephoto camera", and 1080p 60hz display under the "Not" section????

The display is not a con!! That's literally what LG offered, I can understand if the 1080p screen had major color shifting issues or something to warrant it being a con, but...
Just because LG didn't offer what YOU wanted, it's a con?? That's bogus!

The #GalaxyS20Ultra also does the simulated telephoto camera, yet you didn't mention that as a con in your overview of it, but here comes @LGUSAMobile with the #LGV60ThinQ it's all a sudden controversial??
Folks, check out @SomeGadgetGuy coverage of the "simulated telephoto camera" on the #LGV60ThinQ , the photos are not bad at all!
Also check out his coverage on the simulated telephoto output of the #GalaxyS20Ultra that HotHardware didn't bother to mention in their overview of it.
My verdict on this Review was too much "should've could've would've", fair assessment though on the battery and audio, but the constant mention of competitors in a #LGV60ThinQ Review furthers the obscurity that LG already has.

It's not a bad review, but, it's definitely not good
