My mother-in-law is an immigrant from Peru working as a hospital cleaner near the center of the #coronavirus crisis in Westchester NY. She posted this photo and said, "This is my chance to thank New York for making my family's dreams come true." I love her a lot and am so proud.

We just talked with Gina on her break. She was so excited and moved to hear how many people responded to her post. She never imagined anything like this. She shared it with some of the other cleaners and nurses on the COVID floor and they're all encouraged by the support.

Gina is working on a "red floor" with all COVID patients and heavy infection control measures. She and her colleagues truly appreciate all the prayers and support. She is working today but we are figuring out a way for her to talk to you all soon!
