We’re setting up for a fascinating fall. If some, primarily left wingers, want to argue the 2 million+ deaths models were accurate then when we end up with a small fraction of those deaths, won’t Donald Trump be able to argue his actions saved millions of lives?

So what will happen then? Will the left wingers repudiate the 2 million+ models or will they have to acknowledge Trump saved millions of lives? It seems like to me Trump has painted his critics into a tiny political corner.
