The number of #COVID2019 cases are rising everyday. The death rate in the #UK has exceeded that in China. This shows how bad the situation is and how urgent the evacuation should be.
We appreciate all efforts made whether by Kuwaiti volunteers or by our embassy. But we are Kuwaitis and we cannot be left here during this #pandemic. Some of us are sick and in need of urgent health care. parents are really worried and so are we. #COVID2019 #CoronaCrisisuk
We have been waiting for more than three weeks for evacuation to take place. The ministry of exterior has not explained a clear evacuation plan yet. Some of Kuwaitis flew to UAE and Bahrain desperate for better health care. This is unacceptable. #اجلاء_الطلبة_الكويتيين
Several students reported that they became infected with #COVID19. Even their friends can’t support them because this is a highly infectious disease. Please try to emphasize with this situation.. imagine being infected in a foreign country with no health care and no pain killers.
and yes, we do realize how big our number is. We know that there are about 8000 students in the UK. But this doesn’t mean that we should be left here alone with no food or medications. We have the right to be taken care of and the right to be evacuated back home.
All gulf students went back home. We did not mind waiting for quarantine sites to be built in kuwait because we truly care about the safety of Kuwaiti people as much as Kuwaiti authorities do. But it has been more than three weeks, more kuwaitis are being infected!! #اجلاء_طلبة
