Worst days in the kitchen. A thread: (I& #39;ll start)
That time I broke the paco jet a week or so into a new job in a Michelin star kitchen
When I say broke it I mean I broke the damn thing. Had to keep going back and forth from my kitchen to the sister restaurant to churn ice cream and sorbet
The time I burnt 4L of milk while on a trial at really big restaurant while making soft serve ice cream because I was so nervous and an idiot.
The time the freezer broke and I had to keep running upandan between the service kitchen and prep kitchen for desserts and ice cream/sorbets
Looking like a pattern I know.
The time I burnt a batch of 9 banana bread after baking them for 2hrs. (It was a really shit recipe that I adjusted after that day)
Oh yeah the time I spent a whole double shift roché-ing chocolate creameux (I had exaggerated my skills before I got the job and basically got found out) I learned my lesson that day.
Oh yeah I spent hours making trying to perfect rice pudding (

The night I worked until 3am
