I truly respect both Fauci and Birx. They are super smart and way more intelligent than I am. That being said, they spout off an ever increasing amount of bs as well
You cannot tell ppl that cannot get food or medicine. I always defer to science but this shit is way too nuanced for these draconian absolutes
If Trump is right about anything, it is about scientists being unable to run anything. Their brains are wired one way. That’s not how the world works
And again, you do have to turn the economy back on at some point. You can’t just sit back and hide for 3 more months. I’m sorry. It just doesn’t work that way. The cost benefit analysis doesn’t add up
Capitalism has been exposed during this crisis. It is fragile af. But that being said, this is a capitalist country. That cannot be changed in 3 months. You can’t just change rules on the fly. The country/world will be ruined
We can change the economic policies of the country over time through voting the right ppl in but for now...you can’t change things for a virus unless it is as deadly as the Black Plague. I’m sorry. But that’s the truth
