ok so storytime my roommates and I do this thing where we do dramatic readings of popular fanfictions, esp from fandoms we aren’t in. Like one of us read out loud the beginning twist & shout, I’ve read alone on the water, I’ve read excerpts from my immortal, etc etc..

recently we were scrolling through ao3 trying to find smthn to read and decided to find the fics from big fandoms that have the most kudos (hence, twist & shout) & I ended up reading...a bts fic

Now I do not condone RPF I think it’s weird but when it’s fanfiction book club night you’ve gotta suck it up and read whatever ur peer pressured into reading so yeah I paced around the living room reading a bts fic like it was goddamn Shakespeare

but wait it gets better so I’m running a TTRPG game and I needed characters. NPCS. I normally steal from tv shows and basically just reskin characters cause I’m a lazy bastard but my roomies and i decided that as a joke I would steal the ‘characters’ from this bts AU fic

and make them pirates. yes ur probably figuring out what fic I had to read now. anyways. They have a rival pirate crew captained by none other than @Mimipancake_ao3 who is desperately in love with a price based off of *drumroll* Wei Wuxian bc it’s vem’s main character trait

so I’m deep in a lie about these fucking pirates then I decide hey let’s draw the main NPCs which leads me to trying to get away with drawing detailed portraits of the bts members without getting caught by a bunch of 17 year olds who love to make fun of me

and I got away with it!!!!!!!!!!! at least with the first portrait. next up I’m drawing Vem but the problem is two of my players actually know her IRL so I think they would catch me if I did that so @Mimipancake_ao3 who would play you in a movie of your life?

anyways I’m in too deep and this was my introduction to kpop my life is very weird & I am a mess. I will probably delete this thread bc I don’t want anyone to come for me over this for idk plagiarism or smthn
