Abuse, racism, and prejudice are all violations of orthodoxy because they undermine the attributes of the church:

They undermine the Holiness of the church because their practice assumes that since Christ has made the church holy, we do not need to continually pursue holiness.
They undermine the Unity of the church because their practice stands in contradiction to our union with Christ (Jn. 17; Rom. 8:16-17; Eph. 1:11-14; 4:4-8).
They undermine the Catholicity of the church because their practice separates & prohibits victims from participating unabashedly in the worship of the church: Horton, People & Place: Covenant Ecclesiology, 205-06 (see also Bavinck, Clowney on Catholicity) >
Lastly, the practice of abuse, racism, and prejudice undermines the Apostolicity of the church because they deny the clear teaching of the apostles (Eph. 4; Rom. 12; 1Cor. 10-12; 1 Jn.; 1 Tim. 1; Titus 3, etc.). I ellaborate on some of this here: https://letterandliturgy.com/2020/02/13/doctrines-we-lost-in-the-fire/
I make these points because immorality by those in the church, and worse, by those in the pulpits, are balatant sins, yes. Sinning against an image bearer of God is a strike against God himself (Gen. 9:6; James 3:9). But they also prove at the deepest level a lack of true belief.
As Paul says in 1 Cor. 8, right understanding of who God is, real orthodoxy, leads to love of those in the church. Orthodoxy that amounts to the rationalistic γνωσις like that in Corinth lacks true knowledge of God, the Theology 101 that it takes to do ministry at all.
Ministers who allow these immoral actions to take place or who perpetuate them themselves teach a heterodoxy, they lead a false ministry that blesses the Lord with their tongues and curses those made in his image.
May God grant them the grace to repent and turn from their ways.
