what’s the practical value of your services?
say you’re a graphics designer for example: your practical value is making LOGOS, BUSINESS cards etc

and if I simply searched all over fiverr, up work I’d find graphics designers ready to work with me for as low as $5

So how do you differentiate yourself?
It’s the IV part of the equation

which is INTRINSIC VALUE

and what’s intrinsic value of your services?

You’re creating BRAND IDENTITIES for people & organizations

you make their brand stand out from the rest of the world
when you see a PEPSI BOTTLE & ONE FROM COKE, what’s the difference?

The BRAND IDENTITY

when people understand you’re not just an average designer and you also communicate why you’re not serving on price

but on the VALUE you’re bringing to the table
it leads us to the TPV which means

The PERCEIVED VALUE

PV (PRACTICAL VALUE) + IV(INTRINSIC VALUE) = TPV (THE PERCEIVED VALUE)

so how do you approach clients in such a way to connote more respect and attract higher paying clients?

But when you fully implement the formula above and don’t flinch it’s easier to find out their pain points and hammer your proposition on that exactly

Let’s role play this so you understand

I’m a copywriter (an example)
A client comes to me because her business is doing $10K-$20K/month

and she knows with a better sales page, product description and targeting the right audience she can make more money

Let’s call her B while I’m Q
B: Hello, I’m B and in recent times my business has been doing $10-$20K/months but has the potential to do more

Q: Hmm, if I’m correct you believe you can do more than $20K months ma’am?

B: Yeah I believe

Q: Okay, what makes you think so? (Here we’re unearthing her desires)
B: I believe it can because my competition is doing $100K a month

Q: okay now I understand & you believe you can also do $100K correct?

B: of course I do!

Q: and if I may ask if you were doing $100K a month how much better would you standard of living?
B: I’d be able to provide more for my kids (she’s a single mum), travel maybe and also open more businesses.

Q: Okay if I’m correct, you’d have more family time & freedom right?

B: Yes of course

Q: and with this you’re willing to invest to grow your brand?

B: yes I am
Q: how much are you currently spending on marketing

when you ask these questions, it makes her see you’re willing to work with her and take her brand to the next level

.... and this makes you more qualified to pitch her your services
not when you pitch her immediately she first hits you up

You end up showing her the PV of your offer, IV and then close her based on the TPV.

It’s only these way you can work with lesser amount of clients and earn more
