Derek straight up said in season 6 that he& #39;s not perfect and makes mistakes. He generally tried to learn from them. And it drove him nuts that Meredith refused to learn from hers. Love is not accepting your partner and all their bad. It is supporting their journey

The people who call Derek toxic are immature babies who think love is perfect. It& #39;s not and it& #39;s a constant battle. Toxic is using mental illness as an excuse for treating people poorly. That is NOT okay. Dump anyone who does that to you.
