My personality didn’t change. My character did.
I am a very imaginative, creative, humorous, kinda shy, love fiction, and beauty, dancing, out of the box type of person.
But my character is godly. And it’s being formed and shaped daily.

As you can see, if you search it up, personality and character are synonymous but they are not the same.
Character really deals with the mind and the moral of the person. Personality is an individual’s qualities and likings.

When it comes to the fruit of the spirit, they are the dealings of a godly character. All of us are required to obtain the same character which is like the Spirit of God.
WE ARE NOT are supposed to have the same personality and that’s where people get it confused.

I feel like what’s happened is that a lot of people mistake personality with character. So because I like certain things, there’s something wrong with me because that’s not what you like or you think we should like. And then we want to call it out as ungodly.
Some people are very soft and reserved. Some people are extroverts and bold.
Some people are structured and simple. Some people are spontaneous and creative.

The beauty in this is that even though all of our personalities are different, we can unite because our character is godly and our belief is in the same person
Some people may not like me because I don’t try to act a way to “not be judged.” To some i may be a heathen.

I like science fiction and make up. I like pork because of my culture. I like other music besides Christian music because I’m musically inclined. I like to dress a certain way because I get it from my mom.
But I’m not any less saved. And that’s on my fruit and heart.

Yes, there are things that I sacrificed so that I can uphold the image of Jesus but your character is godly. Your personality is subjective to who you are, surroundings, childhood, how God specifically created you.
Stop bashing people for their personality.
