So basically our body’s main source of energy are carbohydrates or carbs in short which are present in MANY foods that we eat.
Carbs also increase cravings & hunger as they stimulate that part in the brain.
Now how keto works is you cut off MOST of your daily carbs to keep it at least below 50 g per day. When that happens & since your body depends on it for energy, it becomes deprived off carbohydrates & enters into smth called “Ketosis”.
What is Ketosis??? Well this is the stage where your body begins to burn fats instead of carbs for its fuel.
Now how else can this Ketosis help you?? Well since you’re REDUCING the carbs you will start to crave less of it & your appetite will reduce as HELL. This will make you eat less calories per day while still eating well
Also unlike many diets, you have MANY alternatives rather than just “reduce” “reduce” “reduce”.
Also for people who can NOT do very HARD exercises like me due to health conditions, you don’t need that for keto all you need to do is moderately exercise or like just go for a walk.
So unless you have a heart problem or smth that doesn’t go well with eating fats, go ahead KING/QUEEN & don’t let NOBODY’S HATE discourage u💞 it’s YOUR lifestyle 💗
Now at the end of this thread I’m not saying keto is easy or smth, it may not be especially since healthy food is a bit expensive but if you’re willing to do it, please don’t let no one stop you 💓🙏🏽
