Mike Gula says he left politics to get into the PPE business "because the president and the vice president were asking people to help.” What kind of help were they asking for exactly? What kind of help is he providing to the president and vice-president?
The entire state of New York can't get its hands on 100 million N95 face masks, but this guy can, apparently, with little trouble. Where is he getting the start-up capital to buy this volume of PPE? Where is he getting his supply?
On Monday, NJ representative Frank Pallone said PPE shipments headed to states were being confiscated, and it was unclear who was confiscating the shipments or where the shipments were going.

Connecticut senator Chris Murphy has been trying to figure out who's in charge of the supply chain, who's directing it, where supplies are, or what rules determine who gets supplies.

He was unable to get answers. https://twitter.com/ChrisMurphyCT/status/1246424801712971776
So, to recap:

1) No one is officially directing the supply chain.
2) COVID-19 supplies are mysteriously being diverted when they're en route to states.
3) GOP operatives started a medical supply business, within 2 weeks became the largest global supplier for COVID-10 supplies.
4) Said GOP operatives started their medical supply business apparently at the request of the president and vice-president because they needed "help."
5) Said GOP operatives won't explain where their supply is coming from.
