A few people have been asking about Coronavirus symptoms so I thought I’d post a thread outlining my symptoms day-by-day + what helped alleviate them. I’m by no means a medical professional but I hope this is helpful!

On day 6, we called 111 because my ches pain was getting much worse. The 111 doctor diagnosed me with covid-19 and said I had lung inflammation. I was told to keep taking paracetamol NOT ibuprofen as it can make your breathing worse...
...she also said I could use a hot water bottle. If you don’t have one, you can fill a sock with rice and microwave it for a DIY heat pack.
Day 7

-stuffy nose
-chest pain
-shortness of breath

-tiredness
Day 8

Note: if you are self-quarantined in London, there are volunteer groups that will deliver medication to you. Call your local pharmacy for info on how to access this in your area. I’m not sure about the rest of the country but it’s worth calling to find out if they can help you.
Note: days 3&6 were the days I felt the worst. It seems to fluctuate a lot where one day you’ll feel ok then the next you feel awful with it. Hang in there and feel free to ask me any questions.

This is where I’m going to stop this thread as far as daily symptoms (unless something drastically changes). I think it’s just a case of waiting for swelling in my lungs and nasal tract to go down. Please continue to ask questions if you have any.
