I feel like all of the animal crossing discourse just furthers the idea that people who follow cutesy, “pure”, generally feel good type fandoms tend to be the most vile and violent, completely opposite of what their fandom teaches them

Of course this is a generalization and I don’t actually believe anyone who are in these fandoms are Evil but it’s ironic that these fandoms produce the absolute worse type of fans
