Social science friends, I need help. We need >80% compliance in #Masks4All wearing to be most likely to halt transmission of covid-19. Currently, people are being "urged" to wear masks.

Is there research that shows whether that& #39;s enough to change behavior, or is law needed?
I& #39;m not looking for amazing and inspiring stories of rare and unexpected results. I& #39;m looking for the usual day-to-day reality of things like seat belts, motorbike helmets, hard hats on construction sites, etc. Vaccinations would be a great case study!
Can you share relevant research here, and summarize? Or if you know someone in a relevant field, can you ask them?

Thanks so much!
