I’m sure I have a link to the draft legislation the VCs and tech companies published and the research they funded at think tanks calling for single payer and some sort of healthcare for all, saying it was an urgent need

Man, I remember those months with that massive trending hashtag campaign about healthcare for everyone that all the tech cos and VCs got behind, the one that was on GMA and Ellen and The View

There was that amazing moment at all things D when a tech & VC coalition announced with Walt and Kara their healthcare campaign, when they said it was essential for American competitiveness and would encourage entrepreneurialism

I remember when Googlers got the explicit support and encouragement of their exec team that time they started local organizing chapters calling for affordable and even free single payer healthcare wow that was so inspiring

to say nothing of how the mobilization of tech leaders behind dealing with the flint water crisis was just the start of an avalanche of public health and social policy advocacy

Man I remember when they got on stage with Bernie and Warren and all the other Dem candidates at their campaigns

And remember that time Jared brought them all to DC and how they brought it up, even at the risk of pissing off the GOP administration? SO BRAVE!
