Today was supposed to be my littlest cousin& #39;s bat mitzvah. A family Zoom meeting wasn’t the celebration anyone could have expected 13 years ago, but it was still a meaningful occasion, made yet more poignant by our uncertain circumstances.

No one had their fancy dresses... but I wore the last hand-me-down I ever got from her eldest sister ( @jessicakimcohen) approx. 10 years ago. (The one upside of being the same height I was in the 5th grade is I get to wear all sorts of nostalgic outfits.)

(I should clarify that, while Kyo is technically younger than anyone else in my family, he is not the person I& #39;m referring to in this thread. He& #39;s four. And Catholic.)
