So many people have messaged me about overthinking & anxiety..so I thought I’d make a thread! THE FIRST thing you need note is that overthinking is ruled by the ego..now the EGO is our mind..the fears,limitations,self-doubts & self-depreciating thoughts! When we overthink..
We lead with the ego..when we get ‘hurt’ we lead with the ego,when we’re jealous,bitter,victimising,confused,anxious,depressed etc..we lead WITH THE EGO..the ego is the ONLY thing that can be wounded..our soul can NEVER be wounded..it is pure,it is LOVE! Now we’ve all been-
Through TESTING times where we result to overthinking..one thought leads to another and another AND ANOTHER until we’re sitting there unable to focus on anything apart from the sh*t in our heads..I have been through it..and I can easily say I lead with the ego for 20 years..
Now..I barely have 1 intrusive thoughts a day..whenever I catch myself thinking about something NOT WORTH thinking about I stop in my tracks and tell my mind to shut the HELL up..when you’re stuck in this anxious phase you see nothing bar the negatives..you think up illusions-
That may not EVER come true..for what? You have to realise that what is going to happen WILL happen..if it’s INEVITABLE you can’t change it..so why are you putting yourself through it before it’s even begun? The fear of the past/future is what restricts us,think of how many-
People could be millionaires and even billionaires if they didn’t have self limiting thoughts..the mind is the most powerful tool we have..so when you think negatively it will manifest into ‘bad’ experiences coming into your life! NOW..the BEST thing to do when you catch yourself
Overthinking is to STOP..as SOON as you feel the thoughts rushing in say ‘why am I putting myself through this NOW? When it gets to that point I WILL DEAL WITH IT’...also..ask yourself ‘is this ISSUE going to be significant in my life in 5 years?’ If not..LET IT GO..look at the-
BIGGER PICTURE..most of the things we worry about are SO insignificant but our mind makes it seem so incredibly important..learn to master the mind..calm the mind..MEDITATE..write out your thoughts on paper and BURN IT..feel the release of negative energy! Cleanse yourself..
I use sage & burn it throughout my house & myself..taking a salt bath and another way to ‘protect yourself’ is to imagine a bright white light around you..this will prevent negative energies from penetrating your space! You are more than your mind..lead with the soul AKA love!💜
