Job done. Something to build on. Will admit that some acquisitions made in my first transfer window were poor, but I have hope that the core of the group will want to stick around and make a push for playoffs next year.

To top it off, they’ve gone back to the previous manager and given him the job again.

So for anyone that cares, I was forced to get a job at KAS Eupen in the Belgian Third Division to keep things ticking over. Wife and kids are still in Italy so do plan to head back, but not letting the board know.

Took over a team in 1st place. No idea what happened between management and board before me. Won our group of the Belgian Third. Not playing a two leg final with the winner of Group A. Will let you know.

First leg finished. Injury in the first 5 forced us to really rethink structure and play a formation I haven’t used during my time here. A crazy last 10 gives us a shot going away from home.

Got battered in the second leg. Don’t want to talk about it.

So we did go up as Runners Up. Looks like I’m sticking around for the time being. Caught in two minds. Great opportunity here but I am missing the kids. They’re settled in school so reluctant to move them to Belgium.

Sorry about the delay. Spent most of the next season in mid table, but suffered as a result of very small squad size and lack of cash injection from board. Slipped into play off relegation spot and sadly went back down. Club wanted me to stay. I stayed.

Finished 6th in Div 3. Had a shocking first half of the season that was a complete tactical failure on my part. Vow never to use a sweeper again. Great second half of the season but sadly couldn’t make up for earlier errors.

We’re on the charge. I came to this club reluctantly but there’s a fire in my belly. 10 games played and just 6 goals conceded. #Eupen

After an absolutely fantastic season, I lost in the playoffs and failed to get promotion. 24 years old and I’m going to bed in a strop.

9 games in. Unbeaten. And look what job is available.

Disgusting. We won just two more games after my last tweet. What a bunch of draw merchants. Well and truly consider this a failed task now. Might resign.

I have. I’ve obviously taken the club as far as I can. Which is nowhere. Will forever regret not winning the playoff to stay in Div 2. What could have been?

Wow wow wow. Due to some fantastic links in the UK and someone finally seeing my potential to work with absolutely nothing I have been offered the dream job. Can’t wait to tell the wife and kids we’re moving to Rochdale!!

Have stayed well clear of transfer news in this thread, mainly because they were all obscure Belgian unheard ofs. But here’s my first signing at Rochdale. Setting the tone for what we’re going to be about.
