1/ So because I’m trapped inside, figured I’d try giving out some micro grants for small indie game devs.

So reply with images, footage, or gifs of a game you’re working on, and on April 11th, I’m gonna pick 20 I think are real cool and venmo $250 to each
2/ We’ll call them “Chaos Grants”

(insert logo here)
3/ I’m doing this because one of the few things I love on Twitter is when a little game project someone is working on crosses my timeline, and it shows an aesthetic or world or perspective I couldn't have ever imagined
4/ In my life as a writer, residencies/fellowships/grants have been huge, but applying to them is a lot of work and time, and the games world doesn’t have a lot of them. So here’s one you can apply to with a tweet
5/ I know $250 is nothing in the scheme of life or developing something, esp right now, but it’s what I can responsibly get away with. Use it for whatever life needs or a software license or ordering snacks for all your friends. You can put you won a “Chaos Grant” on your CV 4eva
6/ And if you are a rich game dev or fan who’s already made it, think about injecting more cash into the young creative communities that support you! Software companies, if you’re reading this, give away licenses to people making cool shit. World is fucked up. Be generous <3
