Gonna do a poll thread on some of my favs. Just for fun :

1. Is HxH in your Top 10 fav anime or manga ?
Is Attack on Titan in your Top 10 fav anime or manga?
Is Monster in your Top 10 fav anime or manga?
Have you watched 3-Gatsu no Lion ?
Have you watched Ping Pong The Animation?

It's my #1 anime of all time. In just 11 episodes it explores all the themes related to Sports, develops characters amazingly without relying on any melodramatic events & tells a beautiful coming of age tale. Watch it if you haven't.
Is Haikyuu in your Top 3 Sports anime or manga ?
Have you watched Chihayafuru?

I adore Sports Dramas because they focus a lot on "out of the court" stuff & lives of players which explores their mindset more. It's an amazing Sports Drama series with rich cast of characters of different ages- something I love to see more of
Have you watched Nana?

Probably the GOAT Shoujo, Drama series ever. It's a story of 2 girls trying to pursue their dreams, one of them wants to start her own Punk Rock band (sounds baddas right?).
The writing & drama is quite mature compared to what you usually see from anime.
Have you watched Trust & Betrayal OVA? Or read Rurouni Kenshin manga?

What can I say? I've been pushing its agenda ever since I re-watched it. Just 4 episodes of beautiful character piece, works great as a stand-alone experience too. One of the best Direction / Production ever.
Have you watched Durarara?

One of the most fun series ever. Adore the Narrative style, multiple mcs getting their own episodes & plot lines getting entangled. Has one of the best first episodes, will hook you instantly. I'm dying to see something similar to it(I've seen Baccano)
Is Vinland Saga in your Top 10 fav manga ?
Have you watched / read Parasyte ?

A classic & one of the most tightly written Narratives exploring the humanity & its hypocrisy layer by layer alongside incredible Progression of its mc. One of the best written manga under 8 Vols / 64 Chapters. Anime is pretty great too.
Have you watched The Tatami Galaxy?

Yuasa & Madhouse adapting a Novel. Love its presentation style, both visual & narrative wise, makes up as one of my favs due to great relatability value. One of the best 1 cour anime for sure.
Have you read / watched Aku no Hana?also called Flowers of Evil.

Disappointing for some, but for me a great series, a highly dramatic Narrative exploring "Adolescence".
Read it in on go while listening to its anime OSTs, they suit the "eerie" feeling atmosphere of the manga.
Have you read Blade of the Immortal?

One of best Samurai manga out there with gorgeous Art (my all time fav out of what I've read). It deserves a read just for its art alone. I see Vagabond being worshipped every day but other great Samurai manga like this go under-noticed.
Have you read REAL?

Just including it coz it will be my next big read.
A masterful serious Sports Drama by Inoue & arguably his best work. Story of 3 Basketball players who lose their limbs in an accident, their life struggles, playing Wheelchair Basketball as sort of a therapy
Have you read Holyland?

The only martial arts manga that I've read & loved it. It's very grounded, all the martial arts used are thoroughly explained with great illustrations & easy to take info. The psychological exploration of mc is GREAT.
This manga is a true cult classic.
Have you read Oyasumi Punpun?

Had mixed feelings about it initially, but came to appreciate it for different reasons, very remarkable manga, love the melancholic tone expressed through its beautiful art & the downward spiral of mc. Asano is more of an essayist than a storyteller
Are you reading Chainsaw Man?

It's the only ongoing weekly i'm interested atm. Fujimoto's absurd humor is a big hit for me. The shift from humor to horror to action is great. Also reading Fire Punch, his previous work, it's even more bizzare & crazy.
Well that's about it folks. Hope you enjoyed this thread somewhat. I included all of my favs from top of my head & tried to make it a recommendation thread too.
So watch / read what you haven't out of the ones mentioned here.
