Remember:
1. The GOP is asking SCOTUS to gut ACA, thus cancelling healthcare for millions.
2. GOP governors still refuse to expand Medicaid, thus denying healthcare to millions.
3. Trump & the GOP are openly saying they oppose vote-by-mail b/c if more people vote they& #39;d lose.

It would be great (or even just decent) to be in a political system where the two major parties agreed everyone should have healthcare and the debate was over *HOW* to make that a reality. But that is not our system.
It would be great (or even just decent) to be in a political system where the right to vote was cherished across party lines and winning elections relied on persuasion and coalition-building rather than voter suppression. But that is not our system.
I& #39;ve said this before but it& #39;s worth saying again: one major political party is making voting and healthcare access a partisan issue. The other party is far from perfect, but it is not turning two fundamental rights into partisan bickering.
It sounds partisan to say so, but it& #39;s our reality. To pretend otherwise would be frankly ignorant of the facts on the ground.
