Friendly reminder that there are online retailers other than Amazon.

Are they all one stop shops like Amazon? No. But consolidation of shopping also consolidates wealth and supply chains.

If we're learning anything right now is that concentrated supply chains have a cost.
This is not an anti-Amazon post (or a pro-Amazon post). I've just read one too many articles/posts etc where someone says they tried hitting up local retailers but they have to go to Amazon because everything is shut down - that's a false choice.
If you are happy shopping on Amazon - go ahead this isn't about that. It's just a reminder that you actually do have options!

So I'm just going to do a quick thread of alternative places you can find things, and also google exists.
The very first place to start is wherever you used to Brick and Mortar shop. Lots of those places have online shops!

My favorite wine shop is closed, but they do online ordering and delivery which is why I have red wine to go with my home made pizza tonight.
Next up is food - shelf stable groceries, you have retailers like

Boxed http://Boxed.com
Stonewall kitchen https://www.stonewallkitchen.com/food/
Williams Sonoma https://www.williams-sonoma.com/shop/food/  (if you're fancier then I am)
Musical and/or electronics
Sam Ash https://www.samash.com/
B & H https://www.bhphotovideo.com/
PC Richard and Son (was one of the last to have Nintendo Switch Lites in stock) https://www.pcrichard.com/
New Egg https://www.newegg.com/
my point isn't to make an exhastive list, my point is to say that if you start with search engine + item you're looking for you can often find what you need!
