Airbridge appears to have been initiated by Kushner, to get PPE & other supplies from, eg, China, and get them to the US. So the article says.

There is good & bad here, but what there is not is transparency. We do not know really what Kushner is up to, or why the Feds are seizing orders to states or outbidding states for needed supplies.
