I think people want to do the right thing. I think people want to help. And people will, generally, follow policies that they believe are reasonable and fair. So gov'ts should be providing some COVID-19 policies: 1/4
Like, close some streets to vehicle traffic between 10 and 4pm so pedestrians can do proper social distancing. Drivers won't love it, but they will understand it. 2/4
If crowded groceries are really a problem, divide us by last name and assign hours. If your last name starts with O - S then please try shopping between 9 and 11am. Is that most convenient for me? No, but I would do it. 3/4
Ask senior citizens to put a sign on their door if they need help so their neighbours know. I would happily go grocery shopping or get medications for my elderly neighbours (or single parents) if I knew. 4/4
