[THREAD] How the lack of promoting BLACKPINK and giving them comebacks has affected them and will affect them in the future.

It has officially been a YEAR since BLACKPINK has given us something music related, officially. 5 April 2019 was when we got the KTL comeback.

Obviously we know the #company hates seeing the girls succeed, hence the lack of music — and more fashion.

I’ve seen more deals/promotion for beauty, fashion, and cellphones than I have for music in the past six months. Y’all know it’s true as well.

BLACKPINK is the cash cow, money maker, bread winner — whatever ya want to call it — of their #company and without them, the company struggles to stay afloat.

Investors are pulling out because of the tumultuous year it was for the company in general because of YHS, YMS, and SG. BLACKPINK had to be the night in shining armor to not only save the company rep, but the company’s bank account as well.

If you don’t know much about stocks, it rises and falls. In this instance with this company, it needs more rises than falls. The dollar amount for the company took a steep fall, losing 10-15 dollars worth of its highest amount due to SG was the pivoting point.

BLACKPINK comes in like the saviors they are and saves the company from a harsh downfall. Since their last comeback, the company saw minimal improvement financially.

Now to the popularity aspect for both the girls and the company itself.

Hwang Bokyung, who I will refer to as HBK, is now the new CEO of the company since the dismissal of YHS and YMS. However, if I recall correctly the Yang brothers still own shares so they still have a lot of control. She came in as the glass roof for the company.

Unfortunately, HBK has to be the superwoman who has to save the company. All the comeback plans left with YHS (Y*G*) and now she has to redo all of his work or perhaps carry that same “agenda.” Fast forward to this year.

We were told by a few media outlets that BLACKPINK were to come back in Q1 (Jan-March) of 2020, THIS YEAR. Now because of CV19, we don’t know where it stands.

But on the flip side, we have groups such as W*nner and Sechskies (s/p) promoting.

W*nner members are soon to enlist, so YG is going to milk them — fair enough. But they’ve had more music then BLACKPINK in the last two years than in the 3.5 years of BLACKPINK’s career.

Sechskies are older and only come back for reunion/anniversary type of things.

The company says they’re delaying the comeback, as they have said several times in different eras. The company has been known for deceiving BLINKs, knowing that we’ll go to war. But when we actually get content, it’s not enough for a group of BLACKPINK’s rep.

BLACKPINK is literally one of the biggest girl groups in the world and has surpassed some of the groups that came before them and have broken many records that haven’t been seen in years.

The delays of comebacks and constant lies will bite the #company in their ass.

BLACKPINK will slowly lose their devoted fan base because of their company. Their investors will sell off their stocks, causing the company value to plunge further than it already is. Once your investors and fans are gone, you basically have nothing.

BLACKPINK can’t be promoted just as supermodels, these women are artists who are overshadowed and constantly brought down by men who — quite frankly — don’t have the star power that they possess. It’s insulting to them, knowing what they’ve been through.

BLACKPINK can also sue their company for emotional distress, revenue loss, and other things if they could because of how dirty their company did them. I hope they do or they find a way to leave as OT4 and move to another company or form their own.

I’m tired of the lies, the constant setbacks, delays, and mistreatment of my girls. BLACKPINK deserve way better and they should be given their dues. Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa should all be given their solos. All FOUR OF THEM should be able to participate in—

Using their artistic abilities by writing, producing, mastering, etc. BLACKPINK need artistic freedom and should take advantage of opportunities while they are presented because they can easily be taken away due to INACTIVITY.

So much can be done. BLACKPINK deserves all the success they have.

In conclusion, BLACKPINK is the savior of their company. They deserve way better treatment for what they are receiving. If the company sees this, please do better. We want to see our girls prosper.
