ARMYs have been lied to about radio for yrs. Some of it we knew but it really became obvious the more the fandom grew & thats the irksome part.

We've literally watched djs & the industry lie & move the goal post for yrs while trying to convince us its our fault, that we lack.
"Shazams aren't high enough, streams aren't on par, not enough radio requests, not enough demand, not enough exposure, not catchy enough, not unique enough, not manly enough, doesn't have the right audience, not charting long enough, too little fans, too many fans+
aren't catering enough, not enough English, not enough collabs, not enough interviews/appearances, not enough connections, aren't nice enough, aren't tough enough, aren't grateful enough, aren't conforming enough" & on & on & on the excuses went. Everytime we grit our teeth+
And focused on studying & improving everything they claimed wasn't enough & could control w/out losing who we are. Not just us but BTS as well only for them to move the goal again & again. And now here we are in 2020 where BTS is the biggest BG in the world w/one of if not the+
most active & powerful fandoms the industry has ever seen. Selling out stadiums around the world, outselling & streaming many artists in their own country. A force that media & industry insiders literally warn other singers to avoid the release time of, western labels admitting+
To literally studying & copying the strategies not only of BTS/BH but ARMYs as well, industry ppl openly saying they're trying to replicate our success & dedication w/other groups in both the east & west... meanwhile radio....still has excuses. And sadly they aren't the only ones
But regardless, we've got nothing to prove. We've done & continue to do our part. ARMYs as a supportive fandom, @BTS_twt as hardworking, dedicated & talented artists.
Their excuses don't matter & their recognition isn't needed. If this is how they want to be remembered in our history, then so be it. We will keep going w/or w/out them.

ARMYs went from being called delusional to having locals/media calling it out too. I'll take that win for now
Although calling it a win feels a bit much atm but in a few years, when we look back, I think it'll be one of many things we should pat ourselves on the back for NOT staying silent about & just accepting it like many others have done & still do.
