🏠 Social Isolation Survival Guide 🏠

Having worked from home for the past 5 years, it pains me to see so many people struggling with lockdown right now! The least I can do to help out is share good habits and little tricks that make the time more enjoyable. (A thread👇)

📞 WORKING FROM HOME brings with it a ton of freedoms, but it also poses several challenges – mainly being constantly surrounded by distractions and temptations.
🚪 If you have the room to separate your work areas from your sleep/play areas, this can definitely improve focus. It also means all your work tools/gizmos are in the same place and easy to find.
🔇 If self-isolating in a busy household, let others know when you need quiet. If you have a conference call at 1pm, that’s not a good time for someone to be practising the guitar! Giving notice lets others plan their day accordingly. A reminder note on the door can help!
🕓 Try to keep a structured workday routine even at home. Make sure to take a break for lunch to rest your mind and body. It’s easy to lose track of the time at home – set an alarm if you need a reminder!
🎵 I’m someone who enjoys listening to music while I work, something that isn’t always possible at the office! The following mixes are some of my favourites to work to.
