Today’s experiment - working on making video pins for Pinterest.

I made sure while filming my IGTV story to film all my product clips separately to make it easier for me to edit them for other platforms.

Let’s see how this goes. 👩🏽‍💻👁

Alright to start - we need to do some basic research.

Pinterest recommends these tip of video pins.

15 seconds is a whole IG story FYI.

Size recs 2:3, 4:5, 9:16 for vertical and 1:1 for square.

Using the app InShot to edit the videos.

Taking it down to a 55 second clip to 15 seconds.
Now that I have the video - I’m planning on trying two strategies.

CTA = call to action

1. Adding a basic CTA on top of my video with my website. I haven’t decided if I want to have a bar on the video yet either.

2. Cutting a video with CTA between key scenes in the video.
