honestly, zoom, you just eliminated what was the most appealing about you: hi tech enough for our savvy members and low tech enough for someone& #39;s grandma to call from her landline.

OK, so the zoom change applies to free accounts and pro accounts that have just 1 user. they basically turned the waiting room on by default (you can turn it off).
AND they are requiring a password in addition to the meeting number (which you can& #39;t turn off).

The work around, if you want to turn off passwords, is you have to add a second user to your pro account. It costs another $15/month, but to me is worth it to prevent HOURS of retraining people.
it& #39;s not super intuitive how to add another user without going BUSINESS for like $200/month. but thanks to @CharlotteElia here& #39;s how to do it:
Go to Billing then Current Plan then Add/Edit.
You can then change the number of users to 2.
Added benefit is now you have a personal pro zoom for non business business. or you can give it to another leader who now has a pro zoom.
