Good morning fellow negros. Lets have the conversation that none of you want to have. Although I despise Tyler Perry as many do, he has put on more black people especially black women than the black millionaires we don’t criticize. Will Smith IS one of the highest+

grossing black males in America, yet he has never put on anyone but his children, & never roles in movies that support black on black love. The only movie that included a smidget of black on black relationships was written by a WHITE MAN, & Mr. Smith didn’t even want+

the black woman (Vivica Fox) casted as that role. Time & time again we see the black community shun down other black creators when who we really should be critiquing are those who do not support us. I get it, Tyler Perry includes many stereotypes but they definitely come from+

somewhere. The things he displays in his movies like failing black relationships, the poverty in black communities, & oppression that we face are REAL THINGS. Not only that, we have Spike Lee who does the exact same thing, bashes other black men, gives white men that energy to +

feed off of, & has barely gave black peoples their chance to shine. But regardless of doing all of that, Tyler still invited Spike to makes movies in the studio that he used with his OWN MONEY to support other black people. Again, this reoccurring theme of him doing everything+

in his power to uplift his people.
This thread is beginning to become too long & my non-stan opinions are always disregarded so I’m going to stop at this point but I feel like these are things we need to talk about.
We give so much money to those who give back nothing to us.
