1] In a few years Bitcoin will be worth a) nothing, zero, shit, or b) a lot of money. So much money that it will make you cry. It's 'a' or 'b'. That's it. 50/50.
2] So, let's say, you're a normal responsible guy, with a normal job, a normal house, a cute girlfriend. All normal, all solid, all pretty boring, all just fine. And boring is good by the way. We're all this person.
3] This means you can 'invest' 10K in Bitcoin right now. You're not really investing, but you're protecting your wealth, because hyperinflation of fiat money is everywhere, but let's assume you don't understand this (yet), and you're 'investing' 10K in Bitcoin now.
4] In a few years this 10K will be worth, a) nothing, just nothing, or b) at least 250K. At least.
7] So, in my opinion, 'investing' some money in Bitcoin is not risky at all. Your 10K is gone, so what (who cares?), or you'll improve your life. You'll be happy, and the funny thing is, you're already happy right now. So, whatever happens: You Will Win.
6] In scenario 'b' you'll have a lot of money. No mortgage, or just a small mortgage. More financial freedom, you no longer have to work 40-50 hours every week, you have more time to chill and enjoy. And eventually, this is it. Maybe even a little boring, but, just perfect.
5] In scenario 'a' your 10K is gone, and this means you'll just continue with everything. With or without 10K, your life won't change. You'll just keep working, keep paying your mortgage, chill with your girl, and that's it. It's perfect. A little boring, but it's good.
