a lot of media companies in the music industry have the power of changing it up and influencing it to become better but they only focus on one genre. in today’s day & age, it’s hip hop, which is (obviously) where the money is at.

nite x is going to change the world. wait on us. I promise you.

side note: I want to emphasize that it’s amazing that hip hop is the number one genre in the US. in fact, it deserves it. all these years. and it’s amazing

but i believe the focus should be on all genres and there shouldn’t be any stereotypes or generalizations about any of them. it’s happened with every genre. every genre is beautiful in its own way. (btw I hate the word genre but anyways)

music is freedom. as Nicolas jaar once said : “we are what we listen to. who we listen to. & who we listen with”.

AND even then, they still don’t want to help the hip hop community. But let’s leave this thread for another day
