If you don't *need* the $1200, please give it to someone who does. I saw someone say they were going to upgrade to a king sized bed and buy a guinea pig and my heart sank. People are losing jobs and homes. For some, this is about survival. Do the right thing.

ALSO. I'm so tired of people talking about the economy's health as if it is just as important as the health of individuals. I get it, they're interconnected, but from where I'm standing that viewpoint is insanely privileged. For so many, this economy never worked.

So, no, it does not make just as much sense to go buy those Nikes *for the economy* as it does to donate to the local food bank or to healthcare workers or to now homeless students or or or or....
