I was in the “it’s just a bad flu” camp.

Then it hit my hospital.

I have NEVER seen chest X-rays/CT scans like I’m seeing now.

I’ve never seen a Flu+ patient with imaging studies like this.

I’m seeing them DAILY.

The youngest patient I saw was in their 40s with hypertension.

Some in their 50s, but mostly 60s+

I’m 35, fit, healthy. I’m really not worried about myself.

It’s the older healthcare workers who are literally risking their lives daily, they’re the hero’s.

I’m not trying to spread fear for attention.

This is a group text with my parents from yesterday.

I’m just telling you what I tell my family.

It’s NOT fake news.
