Barve Committee recommended setting up a new business complex at Bandra Kurla

All these arterial roads of Mumbai were recommended during Congi government of 1962

Saw the light under BJP govt 30 yrs later

1962 : Wilbur Smith and Associates conducted a study. Recommended a four lane road on alignment of Santa Cruz - Chembur Link Road

Year 1934 :

An Andheri Trombay line was in existence. Shut down for airport.

Then we had to grapple with metro 70 yrs later.
