Here is a thread of memories, great and good, for anyone who is dearly missing the Celtic.

Feel free to add your own:
Celtic 2 Inter Milan 1

We become the first UK club to win the European Cup, with a blistering display of attacking football, from a team of entirely homegrown players
Celtic 2 Leeds 1

Celtic defeat Don Revie’s overwhelming favourites, home and away. John Hughes and Bobby Murdoch win the second leg in front of a 136,500 Hampden crowd
Celtic 2 Rangers 0

A Centenary season New Year’s win. McAvennie nets from Morris’s cross, after Paul McStay produces one of the greatest defence-splitting passes you are ever likely to see.

‘Happy Birthday dear Celtic’
Celtic 1 Spartak Moscow 1 (4-3 Pens)

Our first ever penalty shoot-out win in European football. Up steps big Artur. Jazz hands, pile-on, bedlam, Champions League
The Green Brigade

The colour, the tifos, the noise, the charity initiatives, the racket. Never underestimate the atmosphere they bring to this great club
Liverpool 0 Celtic 2

After neat interplay with Larssson, big John thunders in the coup de grâce to put us through to the semis of the UEFA Cup. The utter despondency in the commentators voice is delicious
Come on You Bhoys in Green

Call and response chanting, on a day we won the league. 6-0, in fact, and in style. This was Lennon’s first title win as a manager, and the fans were in full voice. Absolutely wonderful
Celtic 4 Juventus 3

Inspired by a virtuoso Lubo Moravcik performance, we were treated to one of the great European nights at Celtic Park. Sutton’s swivelling left-foot volley was nothing short of magnificent
Celtic 2 Rangers 1

In a must win game, in which we refused to be intimated, Vennegoor of Hesselink’s 93rd minute winner brought us to within one point of the huns. We went on to win the league
Celtic 2 Dundee United 1

A wonderful Provan free-kick, and spectacular flying header from Frank McGarvey 6 minutes from time, ensures we win the 100th Scottish Cup Final. That Celtic end was mobbed that day
Having a Party When Rangers Die

Showing our concerns, in suitably somber mood, by carrying a coffin to Ibrox when our city rivals went into administration
Boavista 0 Celtic 1

The King sparking wild celebrations as we reach our first European final since 1970. It was a crime that we ended that season trophyless; but what a ride it was
Dundee United 0 Celtic 1

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink clinches the title at Tannadice, on the final day of the season. This was our first game after the passing of Tommy Burns
Celtic 1 Airdrieonians 0

Our first trophy in 6 years, in Tommy Burns’ first season as manager. Here Burns pays homage to an in-tears Peter Grant. Grant had his critics, but this win meant as much to him as any of us that day
Celtic 2 St Johnstone 0

Harald Brattbakk slots home, adding to Larsson’s earlier wonder strike, to win the league - and deprive the huns their 10-in-a-Row in the process. Smell the glove
Celtic 2 Dundee United 1

Frank McAvennie pounces, 30 seconds from time, for his second of the day to seal the Centenary double. Not even Thatcher’s appearance at Hampden could dull the beauty of that day in the sun
🎵 The Huns are Going Bust 🎵

‘AGAIN!’
Celtic 1 Manchester United 0

With the game tied at 0-0, following Boruc’s penalty heroics, Nakamura produces this 81st minute set-piece work of art. This was nothing short of immense
St Mirren 0 Celtic 5

Overhead kicks passes, one-touch football, nutmegs, one flowing move, to win a league. A genuine classic Celtic goal, irrespective of the goal scorer
Celtic 4 Hearts 0

In an act of pure audacious skill, Lubomir Moravcik traps the ball... with his arse. We were truly blessed in having a player of this standard at our club
Lazio 1 Celtic 2

After a 95th minute Olivier Ntcham winner, our fans collectively fill the Stadio Olimpico air with an ode to El Papa. Tremendous. Absolutely tremendous
Celtic 2 Barcelona 1

“Xavi’s error... this is Tony Watt. He’s done it! This is the stuff of legend! At the age of just 18, Tony Watt takes his place in Celtic folklore!”
Celtic 4 Rangers 0

The huns cheered as they drew us. We responded with a 4-0 drubbing. Dembele shows utter nonchalant contempt here as he Panenka’d thousands of them towards the exits
The Huddle

Few better sights in football than thousands of supporters chanting, and dancing, in unison. Fuck yer Poznan nonsense, this is the real deal
Celtic 2 Hearts 1

Treble Treble celebrations, when we brought the Gallowgate to a standstill. The bus never came in the end. Didn’t matter
Martin O’Neill’s unveiling

After the Barnes/Dalglish fiasco, it was a breath of fresh air to see a manager of O’Neill’s calibre arrive at our club. You just knew we were on the cusp of something special
Celtic 2 Aberdeen 1

2 minutes into injury time Rogic seals the treble. A season unbeaten domestically. Unprecedented. The Invincible season was something very very special
Celtic 5 St Mirren 0

A Leigh Griffiths hat-trick makes the headlines, but the final goal was this penalty by McGregor. Let’s hope we don’t have to wait too long before we see our next goal scored
