What my cat did this morning when she realized I’d be sleeping in instead of feeding her:
1. Hit my face with her paw
2. Threw the contents of my jewelry tray on the floor
3. Knocked over a bottle of body lotion in the bathroom
4. Knocked over a tray of pastry, then ate one

She also found a piece of plastic from the recycling that she BROUGHT into the bedroom and then played with very loudly.
When I finally caved, I realized Darien had been awake the entire time.
“What?” he said.

And here she is, cuddling with her dad, tired from her tantrum, and full from breakfast.
