As a small choir, we get to sing in an eclectic range of spaces beyond the traditional concert hall: churches, college chapels, heritage properties, in streets & shopping centres, even once (bizarrely) in a mill. I'll take you on a tour of #vOxVenues over the coming days.

1. This is Mount Melleray Abbey, in County Waterford, southern Ireland, where we sang a Viadana mass in August (yes, really!) 2018. A magical experience, a very warm welcome, & a taste of the isolated life. #vOxVenues

This trip was not without its frankly farcical moments. It was literally impossible to get anywhere without a car. Some of us spent an entire morning trying (and failing) to get a taxi to come out and collect us so we could go and get some lunch.
