Two great informative books I read this year have something in common. What do you think it is? I& #39;ll share later today. This is really amazing!! @jeanteillet Jean, I know you& #39;ll find this interesting. Thanks @AccordionBruce @RogersShelagh Cheers~Mike (I& #39;ll post later 2 day)
A great 30+page chapter by @AccordionBruce on our Canadian North and its history of the accordion and a section on the Metis and that Louis Riel owned an accordion!??? I didn& #39;t know that connection. @jeanteillet
And of course a good many pages on our Newfoundland &aboriginal connections. From Harry Hibbs to Minnie White to "chin music" or "gob music" (in Quebec & #39;turlutage& #39;) in communities with no instruments, Fascinating history that took over the fiddles of our Irish/Scottish ancestors
And to finish this thread....enjoy!!! ( Just dd this this morning April 4th 2020 ) @AccordionBruce @jeanteillet @RogersShelagh https://youtu.be/TCuXAaTNFj4 ">https://youtu.be/TCuXAaTNF...
