Theres no denying I love my girl Cherry from the start, and has certainly remained true. And yet she still has managed to surprise me.

Shes grown from simply being my "cool goth gf" to a sweetheart who cares for kids, is fascinated by dreams (as if I didn't love her enough already) and the world in general. My love only grows with her continued depth.

I was sorta neutral about my boi Poncho at first, but don't let that muscular body fool you. Behind those rigid pecs is a heart of gold with emotional nuance. If hes only capable of expressing said nuance through workout terminology then thats fair and valid.

Hes quickly become the bro I never had. Now if I can only get him to understand that's it's okay to dress cute sometimes, even if it doesn't show off the biceps, lol

Tucker has continuously gotten a chuckle out of me between his snack obsession and general laissez faire approach to life, but recently a specific interaction changes the way I saw him. After finding him upset (an unprecedented state for him) he revealed something to me

When trying to discuss an interesting dream to another villager, the conversation got hijacked, and he felt frustrated and disregarded. Suddenly those jokes about how he enjoyed talking to the bugs in the floor because they always listened, hit a little to close to home.

When I first met her, I was worried that Puddles' "fame and stardom" tone would get on my nerve. Boy was I proven wrong. Inside that tiny frogling form is a heart of gold with the energy of a thousand stars.

When she pulls you into orbit around her bright star, its not to make her the center of your world, but instead to share her light with you. I would protect my baby girl with all my life, though truthfully its her light that protects all of us.

Celia is the wildflower of our island. While her daydreamy nature means youll find her lost in thought more often than not, its impossible not to feel at peace around her and shes always so kind hearted. Stay golden, feathers.

Ill admit despite loving his visual aesthetic, Tex's "cooler than thou" attitude makes him prob the first to go if I HAD to choose. However even he hasnt fully escaped my heart. Through some conversations ive grown to suspect that theres a heart hidden under the leather jacket

I feared at first that Bitty's air of elegance would include snob. Ive been pleased to discover that shes equally as elegant in how she treats others. She seems to hold everyone in high respect regardless of how different they are. And for that alone shes welcome with me

Jacob is def that friend that you hardly notice when theyre around, not because theyre uninteresting, but because theyre so easy going that they blend in by harmonizing with everyone/thing around them. Could maybe use some remodeling tips, but living in trash is also valid lol

Simply put, Gaston is a pleasure to be around. His age has fortunately brought out more charm than cinicism. He makes sure not to bother you, but is there when you need him. I admired him since the day we met, and he will forever be my french bunny grandad

Being the newest neighbor, theres isn't much yet to say about Fauna. rn I find her timidness adorable, though I fear I could grow tired of it. But if I've learned anything from the others, she'll certainly grow on me in unpredictable ways. I look forward to connecting with her

This thread went on WAY longer than I expected it to, but I hope it voices just how much I've enjoyed what I hope will be a long and fulfilling journey through my first AC game!
