quietly: one of the things that had me hesitant abt pluralgang to begin with was tulpas and the idea of forcing plurality, and that's where I'm drawing my line

neurodivergency? awesome
forcing your brain to do a thing it doesn't want to? bad, bad, bad
Give me attitude if you want to but quite aside from my heavy suspicion that the word tulpa is culturally appropriated, this is a deeply uncomfortable concept
Yep, it's Tibetan. So if you're white, using it to refer to conjuring an alter and binding it to your will/control when it's appropriated from a heavily oppressed people...

.....ddddont. please.
To be clear i dont think there's anything wrong with wanting to be plural, altho i find it a bit odd, and I'm pro-endogenic all the way

I just, uh, everything i have ever heard or seen abt tulpas has weird racism and Active Emotional Self-Harm all over it and i dont wanna see it
If you'd like to try explaining to me how tulpas aren't cultural appropriation, you're welcome to try. Much like fujoshi, I'm really not sure what the argument is other than "but i LIKE it".
