It was narrated that Simak bin Harb (RA) said: "I said to Jabir bin Samurah (RA): 'Did you used to sit with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?" He said: 'Yes.' When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had prayed fajr,
he would sit in the place where he had prayed until the sun rose, and his companions would talk and remember things from the time of Jahilliyah and recite poetry, and they would laugh and he would smile.'"
The Prophet (saw) was a blessing to all mankind. He sat in the place of prayer after Fajr and smile at his companions conversations. What a beautiful lesson, not just to not rush from where you sit in prayer but to also keep good company.
Those around you are companions on the journey of life, so surround yourself with those who will pray with you, encourage you to do more good deeds and whose speech is not foul, but makes you smile.
